Retaining Wall & Front Yard Landscaping
At this stunning home in Rocky Top, we were brought in to completely reimagine the landscaping along the front of the property. Our main task was to build a custom retaining wall that would define the garden beds and elevate the home’s curb appeal. We carefully matched the materials to the existing brick for a seamless look, then filled the beds with fresh soil, mulch, and vibrant new plants.
We constructed a three-tiered retaining wall that wraps around the entire front of the house. The bricks were chosen to complement the home’s original façade, making the addition feel like it had always been there.
Once the wall was complete, we added nutrient-rich soil and a dark mulch layer to help retain moisture and reduce weeds. With this solid base, we planted a mix of flowers and greenery to bring structure and color to each bed.
We finished by pruning the existing shrubs and planting a standout rose bush in front of one of the windows. The final result exceeded expectations and gave the homeowners a refreshed and polished front yard they can enjoy year-round.
